Style
To begin Russians are very style conscious people,
hence they even have a saying: “When people meet you they judge you by your
dress and when they see you off, they judge your intelligence." In other words, you
better not be just a well dressed person but cultured as well. Sounds like a
pretty good combination to me!
If you are going to Russia or just want to adopt Russian style flair then
throw away anything too comfortable and get ready for everything feminine
and sexy. Many Russian women are comfortable wearing four inch heels as they
are not being caught in sneakers, well, unless they are a stylish sneaker,
that’s a different story. But before getting to the clothes, it all starts
with the basics; personal respect and extreme self care.
Taking care of your body is very important. Russian women DO NOT diet, but
they have measly portions compared to American ones; and they also put
importance on sports and exercise. Manicures, general hair and skin care are
important, to the point where chipped nail polish should never happen, and
hair should be trimmed for no split ends. These are the basics. Now on to
fashion, the best part.
Fancy, fancy, fancy. There are no Avril Lavine or Kate Moss types here, oh
no. Sloppy clothes are for the lower class. Trade your flip flops in for
heels. And make sure your clothes are of good quality, namely Fendi, Dolce &
Gabbana, and Chanel. Think Victoria Beckham! Think feminine and sexy! And of
course, never ever stop being a woman and being proud of being a woman.
