Miu Miu Inspired Headband

This project was initially inspired by one of my cyber friends I met through the forums I participate in, so thank you very much! It is really important to try to stay as neat as possible throughout this project so make sure that you follow each directions as thoroughly as possible, as if I had, my headband would have turned out MUCH BETTER! Instructions
Step One: Your first step is to polyurethane the bottom of the CD so that during the cutting stage the "foil" doesn't lift. I would recommend doing this twice to make sure the CD is protected. I recommend using the cheapie CD's that are the same on both sides, no printing on either side.

Step Two: After your CD's have dried it is important that you cut equal square pieces. I managed to do this with wire cutting shears, but if you have an alternate method, feel free to use it.

Step Three: Now you will cover the headband using hot glue then individually placing the cut CD pieces on the headband. Make sure that you are gluing the foil side down. If you have a thicker headband you can create three rows like in the Miu Miu headband.

Step Four: After you are finished gluing the pieces on to your headband, it is ready to wear! It may not be a close replica but its an inspired style headband with your touch of creativity!
