The Skinny on Skinny Jeans
They showed up during the fall 2004 shows and will be bigger
than ever this fall season. With the tables turning from
bootleg and flare to straight leg and skinny jeans, this fall
many of us may be concerned about how we can wear the trend
without looking like over stuffed sausages.
The straighter leg styles are more flattering than the tapered
jeans and may be a better choice if you are unsure if your
thighs will look good in these hip and leg hugging denim
pants. If you want to try to wear the tapered style and your
on the curvier side, why not top your jeans with a tight or
loose fitted tunic. This will balance out the extremes and
make you look your best.
There are several different brands to choose from which can
help define and flatter your shape. There are jeans that help
lift and shape your bottom through to mid-waisted boot cut
jeans which lengthens legs. Try dressing up with high heels or
dressed down with flip flops and cute tee shirts. In the
evening, wear them tucked into knee high leather boots, or
with spiky killer stilettos, sequined vintage tops and fake
fur; or dress them down in the day with flat boots. They also
look great with ankle boots or with flats...very cool and rock
n roll...very sexy...
