  Glimpse of Fall 2005

Although it’s the middle of summer, many of us have already started putting together ideas for what we will be wearing this fall. I have looked at all of the fashion shows via www.style.com and come to the following conclusions of trends that will be around this fall.

Military Style
This look is going to be recreated mostly in jackets and blazers. Think navy instead of army, we are not talking camouflage here, instead think crisp and epaulet (but not in a Michael Jackson kind of way).

Victorian Style
Touches of ruffled shoulder caps on shirts, lots of ruffles in the front of shirts. Don't forget embellishments of lace.

Oliver Twist Style
Bring out last seasons newsboy cap because you’ll be wearing them again. Pay close attention to put together looks that tune into an earlier era.

Hollywood glam is Back

Dress up your l’il black dress
Every girl needs one, but this season it’s actually a staple.

Sweaters
Your sweaters are going to be big, bulky with an array of necklines, belting sweaters for variety.

Russian Empress:
Deep, jewel tones, vibrant jacquards and prints, and plenty of gold and fur accents are the headliners of this trend.

Colors of Fall
Deep, rich, lavish color was everywhere, with shades of green, turquoise, eggplant, brown, red and orange being the most popular.

Fur
We are not done with them yet, you will see fur again everywhere.

Hardware
You will be seeing a lot of clothes adorned with chains, grommets, snaps, and buckles. Get rid of the broach, which is no where to be seen this season!
