Outfit 1
When I bought these socks, I really didn't know how I was going
to wear them. For me, argyle falls into the "preppy" class so my first
attempt at creating an outfit with the socks was trying to use that concept.
So with the outfit at the far left, I paired the socks with an a-line skirt.
I wanted to use the blue in the socks, some where else in the outfit so I
wore a blue long sleeved shirt under a black wool turtle neck sweater, then I
cuffed the blue shirt's sleeves over the black sweater. To accessorize, I
decided on a large faced watch and maybe small pearl studs, in keeping with
the prep theme.
Outfit 2
I had lots of fun creating this outfit. This is more of an 80's theme that I
would probably wear at night, maybe to a party or club. The jeans I am
wearing are actually stretch jean capri's that I tucked into the socks. I
made sure in both outfits to keep the socks, just below the knee, I think it
looks better. I picked an off the shoulder black shirt to top it off. I
wouldn't use accessories in this outfit because I want the main accessory to
be the argyle socks and the bag. In this case, I have an 80's black sequin
clutch I would carry. |
