Getting older is a privilege. We are so lucky to be on this earth. By the time we have reached 40 we have been through some experiences, haven’t we? We can really say that we have lived. We have made and lost friends. We have experienced the pain of death. We have probably experienced birth, whether our own children or through friends and relatives. We have experienced engagements, marriages and divorces. Our bodies have changed. We might have just gotten our first gray or we have now become seasoned hair colorists. We might have changed careers a few times or maybe we have been busy raising children. We might have just become a mom or a grandmom. Something happens when we turn 40… we have experienced and we have lived.
But now, we have lived the life we designed in our twenties. With the passing years, we have changed too. Something happens when we turn 40… We yearn to recreate, reinvent and rewrite what we will do for the next 40 plus years.
What is it that you find joyful, now? What is it that gives you meaning, now? What is the purpose of your existence, now?
Our lives have changed. We have changed. We are not the person we were at twenty. We are wiser and we have so much more to offer the world. I hope you join me on the next half of our adventure together.
